iTransact Inc. is a good credit card processing service, but they have a high discount rate and startup fee. Their other fees are quite low.

Average Approval Rating:  

If bad credit is not an issue, then iTransact Inc. can set up your merchant account with no problem.

Cost Per Month*:  

iTransact Inc. has a typical monthly cost, including a $19.95 monthly payment gateway fee, a $10.00 statement fee and a $25.00 monthly minimum. The 2.34% discount rate and $0.30 transaction fee are higher than those of competitors, though. The $25.00 charge back fee is typical, but the address verification fee, only $0.05, and the free voice authorization fee are both unusually low.

Startup Cost:  

Startup costs $295.00-more than double the startup costs of other products we reviewed.

Your account will be set up within 2-3 days of applying.

Customer Service:  

When we tried to contact iTransact Inc. we couldn't get though. The company does not offer a toll-free number, making contact inconvenient. We were successful in contacting the company through email, however. Also, iTransact Inc. only has technical support from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Mountain Time.

Internet Based Features:  

iTransact Inc. offers a merchant account, a virtual terminal, a demonstration of their software and a payment gateway through Authorize.net services.

P.O.S./Swiper Based:  

iTransact Inc. doesn't offer any type of Point-of-Sale terminal for your retail business, this is strictly an online service.

Summary:  

iTransact Inc. is a good credit card processing service, but others are better.
